Welcome to Terrington Church of England VA Primary School website. We hope you enjoy browsing the pages and learning about our lovely village school.

Terrington Primary School is situated in the Howardian Hills close to Castle Howard. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent education to all children in our care. The curriculum is planned to suit the needs of all individuals and has the emphasis on motivating and engaging learning that develops children into independent learners.

We have strong links with the local community and Church (All Saints’ and St Peter’s -York Minster). These links are supported through our relationship with the York Diocese as we are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School.   Alongside this we encourage children to develop a knowledge and understanding of the wider world around us through national and international links.

Please give us a ring to come and have a look at our school and see why our children love coming to school.

If you would like paper copies of any information available on the school website, these can be made available free of charge. Please contact the school administrator (Miss Wright) to arrange this.
